Events are held at St. James' United Reformed Church, Palmerston Road starting at 7.30pm, unless stated.

Wednesday June 27th 12 noon: Annual Lunch at The Bald-faced Stag (Toby Carvery).

£10 excl. drinks. Application Form enclosed with the Spring Newsletter.

Tuesday July 10th: 'THE HAZARDS OF MANAGING A CHARITY SHOP' – Speaker: Pauline Obee MBE (Patron Rainbow Trust Children's Charity)

Tuesday August 14th: 'EAST BUCKHURST HILL' – Speaker: Lynn Jones

   Note Venue is the Roding Valley Hall, Station Road

Tuesday September 11th: 'THE LIFE OF A SCRIPTWRITER' – Speaker: Brad Ashton

Tuesday September 25th 11am to 12.30pm: Coffee Morning in aid of Essex Macmillan Cancer Support

Admission £3 to include tea/coffee and a slice of home-made cake

Tuesday November 13th: 'THE ARMISTICE' – Speaker:  Professor David Stevenson

Wednesday December 5th: CHRISTMAS SOCIAL. Carol Singing by St John's School choir at 7:15 followed by  a Talk by Mark Lewis 'THE ORIGINS OF CHRISTMAS - CRIBS CARDS AND CHRISTINGLES'. With Mince Pies and Wine. (no entry charge for Members)

There is normally a charge of £3 for all events at the Church; this includes Refreshments.

Non-members are welcome at all events.
