Events are held at St. James' United Reformed Church, Palmerston Road starting at 7.30pm, unless stated.

Tuesday July 16th: 'WHEN OUR BUSES WENT TO WAR' – Speaker: Janet Seward

Tuesday August 13th: 'ROYAL NATIONAL LIFEBOAT INSTITUTE' – Speaker: Linda Cook

Tuesday September 10th: 'THEY CAME IN THEIR MILLIONS - THE FOREST OF THE EXCURSIONISTS' – Speaker: Chris Pond

Thursday September 26th 10am to 12 noon : Coffee Morning in aid of Essex Macmillan Cancer Support, venue Roding Valley Hall, Station Way, a joint event with BH U3A.

Entrance £1,  Cakes to buy, bring and buy stall, games, come and support the Charity.

Tuesday November 12th: 'TURNING MY LIFE AROUND - AN ESSEX BAD GIRL TURNED GOOD' – Speaker:  Tracey Mackness, the owner of the 'farm to fork' Giggly Pig Company. She will be bringing sausages to sell.

Wednesday December 11th: CHRISTMAS SOCIAL. Format TBA.  With Mince Pies and Wine. (no entry charge for Members)

There is normally a charge of £3 for all events at the Church; this includes Refreshments.

Non-members are welcome at all events.
